Name:Katya
Birthdate:Jan 27
The youngest of Dracula's brides, Katyana began her life as Keela, an avariel of the Sunstar clan. As a child, she made the mistake of wandering from the Fae realms. There is good reason that the winged elves do not wander far from their floating cities, much less to the mortal realm, and Keela was caught by a dwarf from a traveling circus. They caged her, put her on display for the gawking humans to pay coin and stare at. But avariel are not made for cages, and Keela's wings became atrophied and diseased. One of the more sympathetic dwarves took pity on her, and amputated the diseased appendages to save her life...but this left her useless to them as an attraction.

They would have made a whore of her, but a Keela was clever enough to feign sickness and weakness as she recovered, and when she was strong enough, she ran, and made her escape into a dark, cold realm. Alas, she leaped from the frying pan and straight into the fire, for this was the realm of the Countess Dracula. Knowing the Countess would be intrigued by the girl's heritage and hoping to curry favor with their liege, one of the smallfolk summoned the city guard and had the young elf taken captive.

Dracula was intrigued by the little Fae, particularly when she discovered Keela was resistant to her influence and persuasion. She and her household enjoyed the taste of her unusual blood for a time, and Keela resisted them with every ounce of fight she had in her, refusing to speak of her origins, her people, or even to tell them her name. Eventually Dracula decided to turn her, just to see what would happen, if the elf could even survive it.

But survive it, she did, with most of her sanity and personality intact, and though she embraced many aspects of the seductive darkness, her elven blood allowed her to retain some slivers of humanity. Amused and entertained, Dracula called her Katya--pure--and took her as her third wife.
